Mitchellrenee496@gmail.com Greetings Everyone,
I am posting this information to shed the light on the crisis with the homeless in this world, hoping all Americans will come out and support Breaking the Cycle Drop Corp. According to the statistics, there are roughly 553,000 in the United States in a city of more than 8.3 million people.
Nearly 1 in 106 New Yorkers are homeless, that is nearly 80,000 men, women, and children every night. Nearly 4,000 people sleep on the streets, in a public space, or the subway system. It has now turned into homeless birth, mental illness crisis, attacking the public, and senseless killings on the subway. The shelters that are in use do not deal with mental health only supply beds, food, showers, and a change of clothes. Some do not do medical screenings, and some are not considered safe. This allows the homeless to remain on the streets.
When being sent to the hospital for a mental health issue, they are not guaranteed a bed and must be evaluated by a doctor. If the beds are at capacity, they are turned away and are back on the streets sick, hungry, without resources or hope. Some being a danger to themselves and others. Breaking the Cycle Drop Corp. will guarantee beds as soon as they come in the door. They will be treated at admission for medical and mental health assessment, barber, dental, substance abuse, referral counselor & veterinarian. We will also provide them with bathing, food, clothes, a referral coordinator for housing and public benefits. Whatever their needs are, is each case is different. We are here to support and make individuals feel welcome into society and not looked down upon because of what transpired leading them into homelessness. We provide second chances to all. I am asking for any donations that will help
Breaking the Cycle Drop Corp. have the manpower to build this into a successful drop-in center men’s shelter. With all the right tools it will help end homelessness and give them hope that their condition can change.
Thank You for the support
Breaking the Cycle Drop Corp.
